C O M P T I U M

''Comptium'' involves the artists Beatrice Donda, Angela Cotterle and Andrea Solaja who converse for the first time by transmitting a common feeling. The viewer will be accompanied in a process of exploration and mystery through an artistic journey within the exhibition space. The goal of the event is to go beyond the standardized canons of artistic representation and therefore should not be considered as a simple collective.

Beatrice Donda is a food artist interested in using edible materials to create installations that people can perceive not only with sight but also with touch and taste. The "bread and butter" installation that you will have the opportunity to taste is an ironic ode to a country towards which the artist has conflicting feelings, the country that welcomed her during the pandemic.

Angela Cotterle is a songwriter. She approached the world of theater as a child and was part of the group of Rossetti’s permanent theater for 9 years, where she learned the art of acting and being able to be on stage. In 2022 her project "Angela" was born to give voice to her songwriting which represents her best way of expression. "I love art without filters and without masks. Whoever makes art is a spokesperson: I want to fill this role because I think it can be the greatest gratification."

Andrea Solaja is a painter and sculptor. Her project ‘‘Myopos | ph 2’’ encases and reveals her deep bond with nature and the light that she has regained. She paints the stories that strike her chords, with which she perceives a bond. Her past, perceptions and feelings are remodeled as the warp and weft of a unique story which has finally been unveiled. Hers.
