‘‘TALKIN’ BOUT A REVOLUTION’’: Angela Cotterle

I had the pleasure of meeting Angela during an art exhibition in Trieste and it was immediately love!

Angela Cotterle is a songwriter. She approached the world of theater as a child and was part of the group of Rossetti’s permanent theater for 9 years, where she learned the art of acting and being able to be on stage.

In 2022 her project "Angela" was born to give voice to her songwriting which represents her best way of expression:

"I love art without filters and without masks. Whoever makes art is a spokesperson: I want to fill this role because I think it can be the greatest gratification."

We made our first collaboration last summer, inaugurating the event ''Comptium'' at my Art Space and it was a lovely success. This young lady, with her melodic and delicate voice, has the power to bring things to life: where the three-dimensionality and power of art ends, she comes in!

So, I asked myself: why not try it with Nymphs at Chiaro di Luna ? (‘‘The minimalism of Chiaro di Luna meets Greek Mythology’’)

Replace Artemis with Angela and you will find the magic!

‘‘These nymphs are lively creatures who hunt wild animals, such as wild boars and birds, armed with arrows. Under the guidance of Artemis, the Oreads line up behind her in a luminous form: they ascend to the sky under the astonished eyes of three satyrs along the banks of a river.’’
