RESTYLING OF BED&ART LA STAZIONE DEGLI ARTISTI

The minimalism of Chiaro di Luna meets Greek Mythology

Bed area

inspired by ‘‘Le Oreadi’’, W. Bouguereau

In Greek mythology, these creatures are guided by Artemis, the goddess of the moon and of hunting, who prefers to stay on mountainsides; for this reason the Oreads keep her company. These nymphs are lively creatures who hunt wild animals, such as wild boars and birds, armed with arrows. Under the guidance of Artemis, the Oreads line up behind her in a luminous form: the painting depicts them as they ascend to the sky under the astonished eyes of three satyrs along the banks of a river.

Alchemy II, Andromeda III and Afrodite paintings

These paintings foster the creation of harmony between two worlds otherwise divided. The once lost imperfection of everyday life has now overcome the barriers of superficiality and is no longer to be feared or kept inside.

Il Canzoniere

‘‘ Se leggi questi versi e se in profondo senti che belli non sono, son veri,

ci trovi un canarino e TUTTO IL MONDO.’’
